Cancelling and Reactivating Customers

Manage customer lifecycles properly. Cancel customers who've moved on and reactivate them if they come back.

1

Understanding customer status

Customers can be Active or Cancelled. Cancelled customers remain in your database with all their history preserved, but their scheduled jobs are removed.

2

Cancel a customer

Open the customer's profile and tap the cancel icon (person with X) in the bottom toolbar. This opens the cancellation options.

3

Choose a cancellation reason

Select why this customer is leaving: Moved away, No longer needed, Switched provider, Financial reasons, Service issues, or Other. This helps you understand why customers leave.

💡Cancellation data feeds into your Churn Analytics report (Premium) to help identify patterns.
4

What happens next

The customer is marked as cancelled and any future scheduled jobs are removed. You'll see an undo option briefly if you made a mistake.

5

View a cancelled customer

Cancelled customers show a red banner at the top of their profile with the reason and date. Their job history and invoices are still accessible.

6

Reactivate a customer

Open a cancelled customer's profile and tap 'Reactivate' in the red banner. They'll return to active status and you can add new jobs for them.

💡Previous job definitions are preserved—you can use them as a reference when setting up new jobs.
