Creating and Using Message Templates

Save time with reusable message templates. Use placeholders to automatically personalise each message with customer and job details.

1

Open Message Templates

Tap 'More' in the navigation, scroll to Settings, and tap 'Message Templates' to view and manage your templates.

2

Create a new template

Tap 'Add a template' to create a new one. Give it a name you'll recognise, like 'On my way' or 'Weather delay'.

3

Write your message with placeholders

Type your message and insert placeholders that will be replaced with real data: {customer.name}, {customer.address}, {business.name}, {schedule.date}, {job.description}, {job.amount}.

💡Example: 'Hi {customer.name}, I'm on my way to {customer.address}. See you in about 15 minutes!'
4

Save the template

Tap 'Save' to store your template. It's now ready to use whenever you message customers.

5

Use your template when messaging

When composing a message, tap 'Choose a template' and select the one you want. Placeholders are automatically replaced with the customer's actual details.
