Working Offline

Scheduling Hero works without an internet connection. Your data is stored on your phone, so you're never stuck when signal drops.

1

How offline mode works

Your entire database lives on your phone, not in the cloud. You can view customers, complete jobs, create invoices, and record expenses—all without internet.

💡This isn't cached data—it's a full database. Everything works offline.
2

What you can do offline

Almost everything: view and edit customers, complete and skip jobs, create invoices, record expenses, update settings. The only things that need internet are cloud sync and route optimisation (which require an internet connection), and sending messages.

3

Making changes offline

Changes you make offline are saved locally. There's no 'offline mode' to enable—the app just works whether you have signal or not.

4

Syncing when back online

When you reconnect, changes sync automatically to the cloud (requires subscription). You don't need to do anything—sync happens in the background.

💡A sync indicator shows when data is being uploaded or downloaded.
5

Handling conflicts

If you make changes on multiple devices while offline, the most recent change wins when syncing. The app handles this automatically.

6

Best practices

For the smoothest experience, complete your day's jobs before checking sync status. Don't worry about losing signal mid-job—your work is always saved locally first.
