Understanding ETAs on Your Schedule

See estimated arrival times for each job and know when you're running behind. ETAs update throughout the day as you complete work.

1

What are ETAs?

ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. Each scheduled job shows a badge with when you're expected to arrive, calculated from your working hours, job durations, and travel times between jobs.

2

How ETAs are calculated

The app starts from your working hours start time (e.g., 9:00 AM), adds commute time to your first job, then adds each job's duration and travel time to the next job. This gives you a realistic picture of your day.

💡For accurate ETAs, make sure your jobs have duration estimates set.
3

Planned vs live ETAs

When you first optimise a route, you get planned ETAs based on your schedule. As you complete jobs, the app calculates live ETAs based on your actual progress. If you're running ahead or behind, you'll see both times.

4

Understanding the colours

A normal ETA badge shows your expected arrival time. If you're running late (live ETA is later than planned), the badge turns amber. If you're past the ETA and haven't arrived yet, it turns red.

5

The tilde (~) symbol

An ETA shown as '~10:30' (with a tilde) means it's an estimate based on calculated travel times. Once you've completed jobs and the app knows your actual pace, ETAs become more accurate.

6

ETAs update automatically

As you complete each job, all remaining ETAs recalculate based on when you actually finished. No need to do anything—just work through your day and the schedule stays current.

💡If you manually reorder jobs, ETAs recalculate immediately.
