Configuring Working Hours

Set your work day start time, end time, and break duration so the app can show capacity warnings and calculate accurate ETAs.

1

Why configure working hours?

Your working hours tell the app how long your typical work day is. This lets it calculate what percentage of your day is booked, warn you when you're overbooked, and show accurate ETAs starting from when you actually begin work.

2

Open working hours settings

In the Planner, tap the day summary header at the top of your job list. This opens the working hours sheet.

3

Set your start time

Tap the start time to change when your work day begins. The default is 9:00 AM. ETAs are calculated from this time.

💡If you start at 7:00 AM, your first job's ETA will reflect that.
4

Set your end time

Tap the end time to change when your work day ends. The default is 5:00 PM. This determines your total working capacity.

5

Add a break duration

Choose how long you take for breaks: None, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or 1.5 hours. This is deducted from your available working time.

💡A 9-5 day with a 1-hour break gives you 7 hours of working capacity.
6

See your capacity at a glance

The day summary header now shows your working hours and what percentage is booked. If you exceed 100%, it shows in red so you know to reschedule some jobs.
